Groups are where 10 or more people wish to reserve on the same booking.
With our stunning building, convenient location and wide selection of rooms Palmers Lodge is ideally suited for large groups seeking budget accommodation. We also have ample parking on site with spaces for coaches!
We can also organize tickets and travel cards for your group to make your stay a little easier.

Conferencing
Palmers Lodge works with local facilities so that we can offer groups a complete range of conference services within walking distance of the Lodge. Smaller groups can use the facilities at the Swiss Cottage Hotel and for larger groups the Hampstead Theatre can accommodate up to 325 in their main amphitheatre!
U18 Groups
At Palmers Lodge we understand the concerns of Group Leaders in charge of U18s and we have kept these in mind when developing our product and policies. Because of this we have:
- well trained staff who can intelligently allocate rooms to groups to ensure their comfort and security
- a security card system controlling access to rooms and areas of the hostel
- a policy that groups are allocated private rooms with suitably positioned Leader rooms
- comprehensive CCTV coverage
- 24hr staff cover with security staff on duty throughout the night
- carried out a full risk analysis which is available on request

- Group bookings are those where 10 or more people wish to book
- Where the booking is for a date more than 3 months in advance the booking can be held provisionally for 14 days on the bed plan. After this period, if no deposit has been received, the booking can be removed. Although the group leader should always be advised before the reservation is cancelled the booking can be removed if contact with the group leader is not possible.
- Where the booking is for a date within 3 months, but greater than a month, it can be held provisionally for 7 days. After this period, if no deposit has been received, the booking can be removed without notification to the group leader. Although the group leader should always be advised before the reservation is cancelled the booking can be removed if contact with the group leader is not possible.
- Deposits to secure group bookings must be received as follows:

- All group cancellations must be advised in writing either by mail, fax or email. Cancellations cannot be accepted by telephone.

- Cancellations will incur the following charges:
- Every effort will be taken by Palmers Lodge to accommodate all requested changes to a group booking whether this be in the numbers of participants or the room allocation however, if numbers are decreased by more than 10% less than one month before arrival then the appropriate proportion of the cancellation charges, as stated in (6) may be applied.
- These terms and conditions can only be varied by the discretion of either the General Manager or the Deputy General Manager.
