We not only provide affordable accommodation for independent travellers but also cater for students and group needs alike with our dynamic properties. Our high quality budget accommodation along with our chic bars and communal areas creates the perfect atmosphere to meet other travellers and get involved in hostel events.
Recently rebranded, Palmers Lodge embraced this vision statement to be recognized within the world wide backpacker community for providing fantastic fun, clean and secure affordable accommodation enabling people to gain experiences that will be treasured forever.
Information
At Palmers Lodge Hostels we have a 24 hour cancellation policy, meaning that we have to be notified before 2pm the day prior to arrival of any cancellation or changing of a reservation.
At Palmers Lodge Hostels all guests need to present a valid photo ID ( passport, identity card or driver license ) at check in.
At Palmers Lodge Hostels, bookings cannot be accepted from any person under the age of 18 unless they are accompanied by an adult (over 18) who is staying in the same dorm/room. Unlike some hostels we do not have an upper age limit. Please be aware that you may be assigned a top bunk. If you wish to be assigned to a bottom bunk then please email to palmers@palmerslodge.co.uk for Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage or hillspring@palmerslodge.co.uk for Palmers Lodge Hillspring with your booking reference.
All new arrivals to our hostel can check into their rooms after 2pm each day. Guests may arrive earlier to the Palmers Lodge hostels and leave their luggage but access to rooms will not be granted until after 2pm.
All departing guests from our Palmers Lodge hostels must remove all their belongings from their room, and check out, before 11am. After this time guests may make use of the luggage storage facilities but all possessions must be removed from the room and the security card handed back to reception.
